Found in southern India in semi-evergreen forests at elevations around 1950 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with caespitose, oblong, subcylindric, wrinkled, basal nodes longer, uipper nodes congested pseudobulbs carrying 5 to more, narrowly lanceolate-elliptic to oblong, unequal in size, basally articulate, obtuse apically leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, short, 2.4 to 3.2" [6 to 8 cm] long, dense, axillary, apically pubescent inflorescence with lanceolate, acuminate, reflexed, longer than the pedicel floral bracts and carrying light yellow to creamy white flowers
