Found in Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namimbia and Cape Province, Orange Free State and Transvaal South Africa at elevations of 1075 to 1700 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with narrow, linear, acute leaves that are partially to fully developed at flowering occuring in the spring on an erect, smoewhat laxly 5 to 25 flowered inflorescence
