Found in Java and Sumatra on lava rocks at elevations of 600 to to 1000 meters as a medium szied, hot to warm growing lithophyte with 3.2" [8 cm] between each much branched stem carrying compressed pseduobulbs 3 to 3.6" apart carrying a single apical, erect, lanceolate, very shortly bilobed apically, basally narrowing, shining green above, paler below leaf that blooms in the spring from the front and the back of each leaf on a short to .35" [9 mm], single to 3 flowered inflorescence carrying flowers that only last half a day but are sweetly scented.
