Common Name or Meaning The Two Colored Flickingeria - In China Hong Er Se Jin Shi Hu
Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]
Found in south Yunnan province of China in open forests on tree trunks at elevations around 900 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with pendulous to ascending, golden yellow, often branching stems with golden yellow, fusiform, slightly compressed pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic-lanceolate, leathery, subacute and slightly bilobed apically leaf that blooms in the late spring and early summer on a terminal, very short, successively single, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence carrying a short lived flower
