Found in Borneo in mossy lowlands at elevations around 50 to 1200 meters in keragas forests as a hot to cool growing epiphyte with large, razor-edged pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, elliptic, round apically leaf that blooms at most any time of the year on short, successively single flowered inflorescence carrying long [2 days] lasting [for the genus - 1 day is more normal], strongly fragrant flowers
