Found in Queensland Australia on trees and rocks in rainforests ate elevations of 100 to 500 meters as a giasnt sized, hot growing epiphyte or lithophyte with erect compounding, deeply grooved, dark green to reddish stems carrying gradually diminishing in size up the various stems, dark green, thin textured, leathery, ovate leaves that blooms sporadically in clusters, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence
