Found in Java and Sabah Borneo in lower montane forests at elevations around 750 to 1600 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool, pendulous growing epiphyte with pendulous, thickened into a pseudobulb stems carrying ovate, stiff, brittle leaves that blooms in the late fall and early winter on a short successively flowered inflorescence
