Common Name or Meaning Ketrick's Flikingeria [Bornean orchid enthusiast and supporter of Kipandi Park current]

Found in Sabah Borneo in lowland primary forests at elevations of 440 to 1500 meters as a medium to large sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a rhizome with a basal creeping portion turning up to form an erect, becomng descending with age, highly branched, each branch terminating in an ellipsoid to ovoid, compressed, sulcate pseuodublb descending in size above and carrying a single, ovate, oblong to elliptic, basal largest, leathery, green subacute to retuse, shortly petiolate base leaves on secondary branches much smaller, that blooms in the summer and later fall on an axillary, beneath the leaf axil on the abaxial edge of the pseudobulb and laterally at internodes along the stem below the pseudobulb, sometimes 2 superposed, .24 to .4" [6 to 10 mm] long, successsively single to 2, few flowered inflorscence.
Closest to Flickingeria denigrata (J.J.Sm.) J.J.Wood 1990 but differs in the lip epichile being long clawed with a bilobulate apex, not short clawed with a large plicate lamina.
