Found in Taiwan, the Philippines and Sulawesi in mossy montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 2500 meters as a large sized cool to cold, pendulous growing epiphyte with pendent, elongate, very slender, freely branching stems carrying a single, elliptic leaf that blooms in the spring and fall
