Found in Assam, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam at elevations of 550 to 1350 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with slender, branched stems formed of chains of slender pseudobulbs, the branches consisting of sessile, sub-cylindric pseudobulbs carrying a single, apical, erect, lanceoilate-oblong, subacute leaf that blooms in the spring and fall on a ver short, peduncle, single flowered inflorescence.
