Common Name or Meaning The Hairy Flickingeria [refers to the hairs at the apex of the lip]

Found in Borneo, Sulawesi and the Philippines at elevations around 500 meters as a small to giant sized, hot growing epiphyte or occasional lithophyte with erect becoming semi-pendulous with age, 3 to 4 noded pseudobulbs with the new growth arising from the base of the uppermost internode, and carrying a single, apical, ovate, leathery leaf that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence arising from bracts at the junction of the leaf and pseudobulb and carry short-lived flowers
