Common Name The Marked Lip Flickingeria

Found in western Sumatra at elevations around 750 meters as a small sized, warm growing epiphyte with a terete, many branching rhizome giving rise to cylindrical, longitudinally sulcate, pseudobulbs carrying a single, elliptic, more or less acute, narrowing below into the base leaf that blooms on a short, single flowered inflorescence

This species is similar to F fimbriata but this one has more acute sepals, the claw of the lip is longer and narrower, the flabellate midlobe of the lip is much shorter and more clearly defined and the side lobes of the lip are more acute.
