Common Name The Archila's Galeandra [Guatemalan nurserymen current]

Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]

Found in Guatemala in hot subtropical, very wet forests on palms at elevations around 175 meters as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with fusiform pseudobulbs enveloped by purple spotted, foliaceous sheaths and carrying elliptic, acuminate, thin, deciduous, plicate leaves that blooms on short, single flowered inflorescence.
