Found in Nicaragua?, Costa Rica and Panama? in rainforests at lower elevations without locality as a small to medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with a reed-like, cylindical pseudobulb carrying several, linear-lanceolate, acute-acuminate, articulate below into the base leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, arching, to 4.8" [12 cm] long, rachis short, fractiflex, laxly few flowered inflorescence with distant linear-lanceolate floral bracts
