Found in Comoros and Madagascar in lowland forsts at elevations up to 300 meters as a large sized, hot growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a scrambing, brown to buff to off white vines carrying scales but not leaves that blooms in the spring through summer on a lateral, branching, many flowered inflorescence.
