Flower Size 2.4" [6 cm]

Found in Peru in wet montane forests at elevations around 1200 to 1300 meters as a medium sized, cool growing epiphyte with oblong-ovoid, tapered, lightly compressed, sulcate with age pseudobulbs subtended by deciduous, imbricate bracts becoming foliaceous above and carrying 2, oblong-lanceolate, attenuate into the conduplicate, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later fall through earlier winter on a basal, 11.2" [28 cm] long, few flowered inflorescence held at a right angle to the pseudobulbs with subequal, ovate, acute, half the length of the ovary floral bracts. .
