Found in penninsular Malaysia at elevations around 1050 to 1300 meters as a mini-miniature sized, warm to cool growing, mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a hairy, brown tuber giving rise in the late winter and early spring to an erect to decumbent, fleshy, white becoming purple brown towards the apex, warty towards the apex, peduncle to 2.6" [6.5 cm] long, with 4 brown sterile bracts, rachis to .12" [3 mm] long, successively 2, 2 to 5 flowered inflorescence.
