Flower Size 1/2" [1.25 cm]

Found in Japan and Ryukyu Islands as a dwarf sized, cold growing, leafless mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a well developed, tuberous rhizome giving rise to an erect stem carrying 2 to 3 remote, tubular sheaths that blooms in the spring with a few flowered inflorescence carrying fragrant [not nice] flowers
