Found in northern Borneo in hill forests at elevations around 1100 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing mycoheterotrophic terrestrial with a villous, cylindrical tuber giving rise to an erect, simple stem enveloped by imbricate tubular sheaths that blooms on a 2 to 3 flowered inflorescence with adpressed to the pedicel and carrying resupinate, campanulate, white flowers with orange petals and a greenish brown lip.
