Found in the Nanchuan district of Chongking province of China in dense forests at elevations around 1200 meters as a mini-miniature sized, cool growing epiphyte with creeping stems carrying many, distichous, green, purple red spotted, ovate to elliptic, acute, trilobed leaves taht blooms in the late fall and early winter on a subumbellate, peduncle .2 to .28" [5 to 7 mm] long, 2 or 3 flowered inflorescence with two lower cupular sheath and ovate floral bracts.
