Common Name The Rara? Gastrochilus - In China Hong Song Pen Ju Lan

Flower Size .4" [1 cm]

Found in Taiwan in coniferous forests on tree trunks at elevations around 1500 to 2200 meters as a miniature sized, cool to cold growing epiphyte with a creeping, slender stem carrying many distichous, yellowish green often with red spots on both sides, oblong to lanceolate, acute, 3 awned apically leaves that blooms in the winter on a short, 3 to 7 flowered, subumbellate inflorescence.
