Common Name The Soft Gastrochilus [refers to the scent]
Flower Size .6 to .1" [1.5 to 2.5 cm]
Found in northern India, northern Thailand, northwestern Laos and Vietnam at elevations around 100 to 600 meters as a miniature sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with a very short stem carrying persistent, linear-oblong to obovate-oblong, bifid, bright green leaves that blooms in the fall on an axillary, drooping, subcorymbose, racemose, few to several flowered inflorescence with 4 to 8 slightly fragrant flowers
