Found in Java, Sumatra and Sabah Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations around 900 to 1500 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a non-branched, pendulous stem somewhat oval in cross-section, carrying narrowly lanceolate, deeply and unevenly bidentate, obliquely triangular, obtuse toothed leaves that blooms in the fall on 2 to 3, terete, glabrous, 55 to .7" [1.4 to 1.75 cm] long, laxly 4 to 10 flowered inflorescence carrying fleshy flowers that face in all directions.
