Common Name The Suthep Gastrochilus [A mountain near Chang mai Thailand]

Flower Size .4" [1 cm].

Found on Doi Sutep Thailand at elevations around 1400 meters as a small sized, cool growing epiphyte with an erect stem enveloped completely by imbricating linear-spathulate, acute, basally clasping leaves that blooms in the fall from opposite the leaves, 2" [5 cm] long, short peduncle, to 6 flowered inflorescence carrying yellow flowers with brown spots and a paler lip with a few purple spots on the midlobe and inside the sac.
