Common Name Ye's Gastrochilus [Chinese botanist current]

Flower Size .24 to .32" [6 to 8 mm]

Found in Yunnan province of China and Sikkim sub-alpine, evergreen forests at elevations around 3320 meters as a mini-miniature to miniature sized, cold growing epiphyte with a pendulous, slender stem carrying many distichous, oblong-lanceolate to lanceolate, somewhat falcate, green with purple to purple brown spots, fleshy, subacute to acute, apically awned, sessile leaves that blooms in the spring or fall on 1 to 5, axillary, .4 to .6" [1 to 1.5 cm] long, yellowish green to pale green, with purple to purplish brown spots, provided with 1 to 2 sheaths, 2 to 6 flowered inflorescence with triangular to ovate, acute floral bracts.
