Found only in Borneo in Kerangas forests at elevations of 400 to 1000 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with tilted to the side, cylindrical, rather flattened pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, linear-lanceolate, acute, rather stiffly coriaceous, deeply canaliculate leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, rigid, elongating, 18 to 27.5" [45 to 68 cm] long, slightly fractiflex, successively 1 to 2, many [to 75] flowered inflorescence
