Flower Size .6 to .8" [1.5 to 2 cm]

Found in western and northeastern India and Assam as a hot to warm growing terrestrial with an ovoid, in a chain compressed, subterranean corms giving rise to 2 to 3, alternate, plicate, elliptic-lanceolate, acute, wavy margined leaves that blooms in the late spring on an erect, lateral, arising at the base of a newly developing pseudobulb, decurved, terete, sheathed peduncle, rachis lax, 8 to 8.8" [20 to 22 cm] long, 6 to 8 flowered inflorescence with green. oblong-lanceolate, apiculate floral bracts .
