Found in New Guinea at elevations around 700 meters as a medium sized, warm growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to erect, lax, branching, thin, leafy stems carrying erect-patent, subulate-aciculate, acute, terete, glabrous leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are whitish to flesh colored with a yellowish to the apex of the lip and a pale brown anther.
