Found in New Guinea in hill and montane forests at elevations of 500 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with decumbent to pendulous, branching, terete, slightly compressed towards the apex stems carrying many, erect, linear-ligulate, coriaceous, unequally bilobulate leaves that blooms in the summer on a terminal, single flowered, sessile inflorescence with cucullate, slightly longer than the ovary floral bract.
