Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1000 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm to cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to erect-patent to patent, branching, densely leafy stems carrying patent, glabrous, oblong to oblong-ligulate, unequally and obtusely bilobed apically leaves that blooms in the later winter on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.
