Found in New Guinea at elevations around 1300 meters as a miniature to small sized, cool growing epiphyte with a short rhizome giving rise to simple sometimes branching, leafy stems carrying erect-patent to suberect, subulate-linear, obtuse to subacute, thickly fleshy, glabrous leaves that blooms in the fall on a terminal, single flowered inflorescence.

Schlechter states that the flowers are pure white with a round spot made up of green gray dots towards the apex of the lip and a pale brown anther.
