Common Name The Least Glossodia - The Small Waxlip Orchid

Flower Size 3/4" [2 cm]

This miniature sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial species is from Queensland and Victoria, Australia, at elevations of 20 to 250 meters occuring often in dry sclerophyll forests, grassy sclerophyll forests, dry sclerophyll woodlands, heaths and dunes (including stabilized sands) with a dark green leaf that blooms in the winter and spring on an erect, 3.2 to 6" [8 to 15 cm] long, 1 to 2 flowered inflorescence.
