Found in Costa Rica at elevations around 1100 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with ovoid, dark green, ridged pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, plicate leaves that blooms on a a pendant, fairly thin, 4.8" [12 cm] long, 5 to 10 flowered, racemose inflorescence enveloped by a few sheaths and has lanceolate, acuminate floral bracts.
