Common Name The Brown-Yellow Gongora

Flower Size 1.5" [3.75 cm]

Found in western Colombia at elevations around 400 to 900 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with conic pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, plicate, elliptic, gradually narrowing below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the late spring on a basal, pendent, to 20" [50 cm] long, to 30 flowered inflorescence.

G tricolor is cited to be a synonym of this species but I have kept them separate pending better references.
