Common Name The Ila Gongora [Mountains in Ecuador]
Flower Size 1.6" [4 cm]
Found in Ecuador in wet premontane forests at elevations of 100 to 800 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing epiphyte with swollen, longitudinally ribbed pseudobulbs carrying 2 apical, broad, thin plicate leaves that blooms in the late spring in northern hemisphere culture on a basal, pendant, 6 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
