Found in Panama and Colombia at elevations around 185 to 255 meters as a just medium sized, hot to growing epiphyte with round, deeply grooved pseudobulbs carrying 2, apical, plicate, gray-green leaves that blooms in the spring on a basal, pendent, elongate, many flowered inflorescence
