Found in Antioquia and Caldas states of Colombia on the eastern slope of the Andes.

This species and G gratulabunda are very similar but differ in this ones dorsal, 2 pointed anterior of the lip, which is on the left and G gratulabunda rounded dorsal anterior lip structure on the right
