Common Name Vitorino's Gongora [Brazilian Orchidist current]

Found in Pernambuco Brazil at elevations around 300 meters as a medium sized, hot growing epiphyte with ovoid, strongly angled, six sided pseudobulbs enveloped basally by 2 papery bracts and carrying 2, apical, erect, plicate, elliptic, undulate margined, apiculate, gradually narrowing below into the canaliculate, petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer and earlier fall on a basal, pendent, several flowered inflorescence
