Common Name Becarri's Goodyera [Italian Botanist and orchid Enthusiast early 1900's]
Flower Size less than 1/2" [less than 1.25 cm]
Found in western Sumatra without elevational data as a small to medium sized terrestrial with decumbent becoming erect, terete, glabrous lower down, hairy towards the inflorescence stem carrying leafy in the lower third, lanceolate-elliptic, green spotted whitish yellow, narrowing basally into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the summer on an erect, terminal, laxly, 7 to 10 flowered inflorescence.
Schlechter states that this species approaches G bifida but differs in the whitish yellow spotting on the leaves and the hairy inflorescence and ovaries.
