Common Name Daibuza Goodyera [Taiwan area] - in China Da Wu Ban Ye Lan
Flower Size 1" [2.5 cm]
Found on Taiwan in forest in shady areas at elevations of 700 to 1600 meters as a small to medium sized, warm to cool growing, miniature terrestrial with an ascending, stout stem carrying 5 to 7, widely spaced or clustered towards the apex of the stem, abaxially grayish white, adaxially green with white or pale green, ellliptic to oblong, acute, broadly cuneate below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, pale grayish green, pubescent, 10" [25 cm] long, many flowered inflorescence with 2 to 3, sterile bracts and lanceolate, pubescent, acuminate floral bracts with the flowers held in a spiral.
