Common Name or Meaning The Small Flowered Goodyera - In China Xiao Xiao Ban Ye Lan

Found in Malaysia, Java, Borneo, Sumatra and New Guinea? in shade in sandstone soil at elevations around 300 to 1300 meters as a large sized, hot to cool growing terrestrial with a fleshy, light brown stem carrying 3 to 5, long-oval, acute, petiolate base leaves that blooms on a shortly pubescent, 3" [7.5 cm] long, to 8 flowered, inflorescence with one or more leaf like sheaths and long-triangular, acute floral bracts.
