Found only in Borneo in hill and lower montane forests at elevations of 500 to 2700 meters as a miniature sized, warm to cold growing terrestrial with 2 to 3, closely reticulated with white above, slightly copper tinted beneath, midvein prominently carinate beneath, lanceolate, acuminate, slightly oblique, rounded to subcordate base leaves taht blooms in the winter on a terminal, erect, with 4 sheaths, lowermost deltoid leaflike, to 5" [12.5 cm] long overall, rachis to 2 to 2.4" [5 to 6 cm] long, subsecund, closely pubescent, and apparently glandular throughout, rather densely many flowered inflorescence with basall clasping, abruptly longly acuminate,one nerved, longer than the ovaries in maturity floral bracts
