Found in India? and Thailand in seasonal evergreen forests and hill evergreen forests on granite or limestone at elevationsof 200 to 1125 meters as a medium sized [when blooming], hot to cool growing terrestrial or lithophyte with an erect stem carrying 4 to 7, herbaceous, crowded on the lower part of the stem, green above, pale light green beneath, obliquely elliptic to broadly lanceolate, acute to acuminate leaves petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later winter to early spring on an erect, terminal, glandular-pubescent, rachis 2.8 to 7.2" [7 to 18 cm] long, relatively lax. 12 to 20" [30 to 50 cm] long, laxly 9 to many flowered inflorescence.
