Found in Papua New Guinea at elevations around 900 meters as a miniature to small sized, warm growing terrestrial with a terete, glabrous, leafy above the middle stem carrying about 3 to 5, velvet green intricately veined in silver-white, patent, lanceolate, acute, rounded below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the fall on an erect, several to 7 flowered inflorescence with ovate-lanceolate, acute floral bracts.
