Found in western Sichuan province of China in forests as a miniature sized terrestrial with an ascending stem carrying 7, abaxially pale green, adaxially green with white venation and irregular spotting, ovate, acute, cuneate below into the petiolate base leaves that blooms in the later summer and early fall on an erect, peduncle green, pubescent, provided with 3 sterile bracts, rachis to 1.2" [3 cm] long, secund, 9 flowered inflorescence with lanceolte, scuminaste floral bracts and carrying white tinged pink, small flowers that barely open
