Common Name The Hairy Lipped Govenia

Found in Costa Rica on forested slopes at elevations of 1500 to 2100 meters as a small to just medium sized, cool to cold growing terrestrial with 2, subopposite, erect-spreading, ellipitc, shortly acuminate, thinly membranaceous, plicate leaves that blooms in the spring on a slender, glabrous, loose below congested above, shorter than the leaves, racemose inflorescence.
