Common Name The Four Pleated Govenia

Flower Size .8" [2 cm]

Found in Guatemala, Costa Rica and Panama in very wet montane forests at elevations of 1200 to 1800 meters as a small to medium sized, cool growing terrestrial with cylindrical, oblong to ovoid, slightly swollen pseudobulbs enveloped by leaf bases carrying 2, apical, erect, oblong, acute, cuneate below into the base leaves that blooms in the spring on a terminal, erect, with a few sheaths, to 12" [30 cm] long, overall, rachis few to several flowered inflorescence.
