Found on Leyte within the Philippines near sealevel as a mini-miniature sized, hot growing epiphyte with a short stem enveloped completely by leaf beraring sheaths carrying distichous, articulate, ligulate, coriaceous, unequally bilobed apcially, subacute, obliquely erect leaves that blooms in the late winter and early spring on an axillary, shorter than the leaves, peduncle to 2.8" [7 cm] long, rachis slightly thicker, about .2" [5 mm] long, successively single, few flowered inflorescence with rigid, obtuse, squamiform, much shorter than the ovary floral bract.
