Common Name The Flesh Red Habenaria - In Thailand Wan ya nok we - Lin Mangkon Bai Chut

Found in Thailand on limestone hills in evergreen forests at lower elevations as a small sized, hot to warm growing, deciduous terrestrial with several, basal, olive green with pale spotted leaves and blooms in the late summer and early fall on a terminal, erect, to 15 flowered, racemose inflorescence as the new growths become mature. The leaves fall after the flowers and rainy season fade in the early fall and the tubers go dormant for a few months in late fall and early winter.
