Found in Costa Rica on forested slopes at elevations of 650 to 1200 meters as a medium sized, hot to warm growing terrestrial with 8 to 10, erect-patent, elliptic to oblong-elliptic, acuminate leaves that blooms in the summer and fall on an erect, glabrous, 8" [10 cm] long, sublaxly, 10 to 18 flowered inflorescence.
